Kim HuntIf you love all things Dolly Parton, then you will love Jolenes, a Dolly themed cabin located in Sevierville, TN in the Catons chapel area, which is rich in Parton history. Dolly attended Catons Elementary when she started her singing career at the age of 8. Many of her family still lives in the area.
I had been eyeing this cabin for quite some time. Every time we’d planned a weekend trip to the Smokies, I’d check to see if there was availability. It was always booked for the dates we needed.
I was so excited to finally be able to book the cabin for a few nights during a recent trip. The three bedroom two bath cabin has become our new favorite cabin in the Smokies.
Upon arriving at the cabin, you are greeted by one of Dolly’s favorite things, butterflies!
Once you enter the cabin, you’re greeted by the small, yet spacious kitchen that has everything you need. There’s a microwave, oven, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, and refrigerator. There’s even a pantry space for food storage. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, and basic cooking supplies.
Note that the kitchen has received a makeover since our stay. You can view updated photos of the kitchen here.
As you enter the dining area, you’re greeted by a life size cutout of Dolly!
The dining table seats 6 and is a great place to gather with a pretty view.
Fancy listening to Dolly’s music? There’s a record player for just that!
The living room has a fireplace and television. And you guessed it…more Dolly decor!
The bathroom located in the main living area is decorated with butterflies.
The main bedroom features a king bed with a jetted tub, a walk in closet and its own bathroom. More butterfly and Dolly decor adorn these two rooms.
The second bedroom is decked out for the kids in a nautical theme. The twin bed features a twin trundle bed which allows sleeping for 2. There’s also a television in the room and a gaming system.
The third bedroom features a washer and dryer and is located away from the other two bedrooms next to the kitchen. It has a queen bed that will sleep 2.
The cabin was very clean, in a great location, and the hosts were top notch! We will definitely be staying at Jolene’s again!
