Feaster’s on Teaster’s: Go Hungry and You’ll Leave Stuffed

Published

on

You may remember the feature we did for Feaster’s on Teaster’s in May. It is currently the most popular article on our website, and for good reason…if you go hungry, you will leave stuffed.

Feaster’s on Teaster’s is a new restaurant located on the parkway in Pigeon Forge with a Native American themed dinner experience and a wide variety of menu choices. You receive complimentary starters with the purchase of any entree, salad, or lunch combo between the hours of 11:00 am – 4:00 pm and with any entree or salad between the hours of 4:00 – close. Complimentary starters include Indian Fry Bread, Yeast Rolls, and Sweet Cornbread with Whipped Butter, Whipped Honey Butter and Fruit Butter (all of them are amazing).

As mentioned earlier, the decor throughout the restaurant is Native American themed. Headdresses, dreamcatchers, skulls, photos, and more can be seen hanging throughout the restaurant, in addition to patterned booths and chair backs. There is even a gorgeous lit tree upon entering the restaurant.

The complimentary starters are amazing! We couldn’t decide which of the bread and butter combinations were our favorite.

My friend chose the Omaha Steak with baked potato and southern style green beans. She said it was one of the best steaks she had ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. She also agreed with me that the green beans were cooked just right as well. The baked potato was also delicious.

I chose the Indian Taco, a frybread taco with ground bison, tomatoes, lettuce, black beans, and their signature prairie sauce. My favorite thing about the taco was the fact that the bison was not greasy and did not saturate the foundation layer of frybread. There was a hint of sweet to the frybread which cut the spiciness of the prairie sauce. It made for a spectacular combination of flavors. The green beans and whipped garlic potatoes were the perfect choices of sides.

We were both so full a little over halfway through the meal but could not stop eating. That is a testament to how good the food is! We can’t wait to go back and try more menu items.

And now for my ratings…
