Kim HuntThe WildFlour Bakehouse is located at 240 Forks of the River Parkway in Sevierville, Tennessee. You may have even seen the bakery featured on an episode of Moonshiners.
Owner Stephany Houston retired after 29 years as a 911 operator. Her love of baking and sharing her skills with others led her to open The WildFlour Bakehouse. Her granddaughter Violet is the ‘wildflower’ of WildFlour and also the inspiration behind the violet-colored walls inside the bakery.
Their breakfast menu includes bagels, avocado toasts and croissant sandwiches, pastries, turnovers and cinnamon rolls. The lunch menu includes soups in fresh-baked bread bowls, Waldorf chicken salad or homemade pimento cheese sandwiches. Desserts include cream pies, fruit pies, cakes, cookies, masterfully decorated sugar cookies, cream horns, and cinnamon roll bread pudding. Fountain and cooler drinks are also available as well as freshly brewed coffee, espresso, and lattes.
We stopped in a few days ago to grab some Valentine’s Day treats. They were delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken salad. I hear it’s amazing!
Fun classes are offered at the bakery as well. You can try your hand at seasonal cookie decorating with one of the ‘Cookie Decorating Experience’ classes or try recreating a bakery item with an ‘I Nailed It!’ class. Follow The WildFlour Bakehouse Facebook page for event information which includes dates and times for each class. Following their Facebook page is also a great way to view their daily specials!
