Spring is here and so is the Dollywood Flower and Food Festival.

From April 22 – June 5, 2022,  there are lots and of new things to see and do out at Dollywood.
Lets check out springtime in the Smokies- Dolly style!
WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR?
As you walk under Dollywood’s now famous Umbrella Sky, there is so much for everyone to enjoy.
This year, Dollywood has three new Mosaicultures made of fresh flowers and live plants. Located in Craftsman Valley, you can’t help but bee in awe of the larger than life beekeeper and bees buzzing around. Keep on the lookout for the ‘unofficial’ greeter of Dollywood at the cinnamon bread grist mill. You will see a playful duck going quackers about getting its picture taken. In front of the church, you can’t help but stop to take in the beauty of the peacock showing off a blossoming plume.
Don’t worry your favorites are still there.
The playful bears, raccoons and of course the showstopper: Dolly’s mom and the Coat of Many Colors. Listen carefully and you can hear Dolly tell the story about this coat.
SHOWS!
Music and shows spring to life during the Flower and Food Festival.
  • Bloom! A definite must see is this new show in front of Chasing Rainbows. Watch three aerial artists blossom into beautiful flowers and sway in the wind. All while on poles stretched high into the sky.
  • Harmonies of the Heart: Features actual members of Dolly’s family as you get to sit back and enjoy some great Dolly hits.

New Experience Alert- Dolly’s Butterfly Garden!
While Chasing Rainbows is undergoing enhancements and closed for the 2022 season, doesn’t stop us from going inside for this new experience.  With flowers painted on the walls while in line and in air conditioning- they allow 16 people at a time to enjoy this experience. You will walk in a room with huge screens on both sides of you as butterflies flutter by. Touch the screen and you will notice the butterflies may attempt to land in your hand.
While in the area of Chasing Rainbows- check out the CHARK ART by Jamie Houser: she is out there creating images daily for all to enjoy.
How have we not talked about the FOOD yet!? Back this year is the tasting card and how you are going to want it! New items this year include:
  • Seafood Mac & Cheese
  • Barbecue Bacon Jammin’ Fries
  • Sloppy Joe
  • Bavarian Crab Pretzel Melt- this was our absolute favorite, found in the new Iron Horse Pizza by the train.

Other standouts from last year is back including the Fish and Chips, the Waffle Ice Cream Sandwich and the Lavender and Honey Funnel Cake!

A tasting pass is $34.99 for five festival foods. If you don’t use all your punches in one day- no worries, you are more than welcome to come back and enjoy on another day during the festival.

From 500,000 flowers, street performers playing music around the park, all the fresh flavors Dollywood is known for, the Dollywood Flower and Food Festival is back and in full bloom, this spring in the Smoky Mountains.
