Kim HuntOne of the best ways to spend a hot day in the Smokies is tubing down a river. We have compiled a list of the best places to go tubing in the Smokies. Don’t see your favorite on the list? Let us know in the comments below.
Outpost A: The lower section and Main Outpost is the “family-friendly float” and features relaxing rapids, scenic views, and even a rock jump! This outpost is suitable for ages 2 and up or those who are first-timers to The Rat. This route is also dog-friendly.
Outpost B: The upper section is what they like to call the “adventure float.” It features a scenic float with adrenaline-pumping rapids and cool, refreshing swimming holes. This outpost is suitable for ages 6 and up. Their Private Riverside Cabana rentals are also located at this outpost.
