Smoky Mountain Eats: Our Top 10 Restaurants



One question that we see asked time and time again is, “What is the best restaurant in the Smoky Mountains?” What criteria does a restaurant meet to be named one of the best? In our opinion, it’s a combination of many things. Each of our review ratings includes the following: atmosphere, food & drink, location, and service.

In no particular order, here are our top 10 restaurants in the Smokies.

Local Goat New American Restaurant

Pigeon Forge

The Local Goat is a scratch kitchen specializing in locally sourced foods. Everything is made from scratch in their kitchen daily, including their bread. The bar specializes in local craft breweries, craft cocktails, and fine wines. The dining room features artwork from local artists and craftsmen.

Pigeon Forge

Blue Moose Burgers and Wings is Pigeon Forge’s only family sports grill. Serving East Tennessee’s best wings, burgers, sandwiches, and salads.

Puckett’s is a southern bar and grill with a large stage for live music. The atmosphere boasts an old general store vibe. Serving southern staples and authentic comfort food, Puckett’s prides itself on dishing up classics such as their famous meat-and-three and their slow-smoked BBQ.

Chubby’s Deli


Clyde and Carolyn Williamson have been in the food industry for over 35 years. Cooking for friends and family has always been a great pleasure for them both. Chubby’s Deli has been a dream of theirs for a very long time and has finally come true. The restaurant is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year! Their mission is to serve GREAT homemade food at affordable prices and they are doing just that.

The Greenbrier


The Greenbrier Restaurant is a food and spirit outpost. It sits on a ridge in the Greenbrier area of the Great Smoky Mountains. This same area once provoked wonder and imagination among the early settlers of this region. Today, we are dedicated to keeping that spirit alive by preserving the natural beauty of this historical building and serving food that will peak your senses.

Pigeon Forge

With the goal of creating a one-of-a-kind distillery experience for visitors, Junction 35 joined their distillery with a Kitchen & Bar. Whether you are looking for handcrafted cocktails made with their spirits, slow-cooked BBQ or a non-GMO farm-raised burger Junction 35 is just the ticket.

It’s a casual, energetic, fun place with good food, friendly faces, real hospitality, and great tasting spirits.
