An Exclusive Look at Santa’s Nice List at Dollywood

Published

on

We teamed up with Adventures that Rock to bring you an exclusive first look at Santa’s Nice List at Dollywood. Visit the reimagined Santa Experience. Have a photo in front of Santa’s cabin and be granted special access to peek into his study to see if you have made the Naughty or Nice List.

Richard Rock writes…

Santa Claus loves the Smoky Mountains. What better place for Santa to nestle into a cabin and double-check his list than at Dollywood.

Santa’s List is one of the new experiences that will fill the hearts of children and adults with the spirit of Christmas.

Given the challenges of 2020, the DreamMakers at Dollywood have come up with a special way for everyone to still be able to see the North Pole’s famous toymaker. Taking place in the Heartsong Theatre, next to the carousel, get ready to peek in on Santa checking his list and see if you have been naughty or nice this year.

Your adventure begins with meeting Santa’s favorite elves as you check in. They delight in sharing stories such as Santa’s favorite cookies and how Dolly made a special coat of many colors just for him. Be sure to look around his cabin and you will spot it hanging on a coat rack.

Just before you meet Santa, the elves will give you a blank wish list so you can jot down those items that you would love to see under the Christmas tree. Then after you drop them off in the big red mailbox, the doors open to a room filled with beautifully lit Christmas trees and snow falling under hues of blue light. A winter scene right out of a Christmas storybook!

Then it’s go time! In order to see his jolliness up close, you are led to his cabin to peer through the window. There you will see Santa walking about, shaking his snow globe, warming his hands by the fire, and finally sitting at his desk. He unrolls a big scroll with Sandi’s and my name listed on it! We are delighted to know that we were both once again on the nice list!

A photographer is on hand to capture the special moments and you can check your photos out in the next building at the end of your journey.

Santa’s List is a definite must do, for the young and young at heart, at Dollywood this holiday season.
